Every year at GHM we host a community fiafia evening celebrating our local Pacific Families and Culture! But what are actually fiafia nights? Fiafia means gathering or celebration, and local groups perform and showcase their amazing talent in traditional dancing, singing and even cooking.
Fiafia evenings in Puketāpapa are carefully woven with the Poly Embrace initiative where our local youth navigators facilitate and deliver our own designed pacific model alongside our cultural advisory team.
